On Saturday April 5th we celebrated our chapter becoming officially affiliated with Babywearing International during our Group Warming Party. Parents and their little ones gathered at West Hills Park to try out our lending library, buy some goodies from our baked sale, get some family photos taken with our mini session fundraiser, get henna for a small donation, and enjoy the gorgeous, sunny day. We had a fantastic turnout and raised almost $400 between memberships and fundraising which will be put toward more carriers for our lending library and other necessary purchases for the group. We so very much appreciate everyone who came our and supported us! If this event was any indication, our chapter is going to be a massive success and a great contribution to the community!
